Across the world, women’s rights and freedoms are under renewed threat — but moments like these also remind us of our shared strength and possibility. Coming together to talk, and more importantly to listen, becomes an act of hope, solidarity, and forward momentum.

Join us for the launch of WOW 365 as we gather with optimism and collective resolve to imagine a better, fairer world for women and girls.

Why We Gather brings together writers, artists, and activists from around the globe to explore the power of collective resistance, the role of storytelling and art in sustaining movements, and the possibility that empathy and joy can keep us connected.

Chaired by WOW Founder Director Jude Kelly, this event features Former Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Founder of Act3 and leadership expert India Gary-Martin, bestselling author Elif Shafak and a performance by award-winning poet Shareefa Energy.

The event will bring together artists, thinkers and activists to reflect on the global state of women’s rights and the essential role of connectivity in sustaining resilience.

This event is for WOW 365 Members. You can sign up now here for the WOW Festival year-round, with a packed programme of events.

You'll become part of our growing global community of people passionate about gender equality, and gain the energy, inspiration and optimism needed to take action and make a positive change in the world. WOW 365 Membership starts from £8 a month (discounted prices are available for emerging and low economy countries).
