As the world debates shifting power and new world orders, we turn our focus to those who live with the consequences. Behind every headline about influence and impunity are real women and girls, and survivors whose lives are shaped by these systems and abusers. Now more than ever, the scale of VAWG feels overwhelming, and the networks, the silence and the weight of it all are terrifying and triggering for many.

This session unpacks how and why many women are feeling traumatised and creates space to examine the structures behind the spectacle whilst demanding care, accountability and protection for women and girls now and in the future.

Speakers include Founder of the Everyday Sexism Project and best-selling writer Laura Bates and Lawyer Daphne Delvaux, whose Instagram post about how the Epstein files were being released to cause overwhelm went viral. The event will be Chaired by Political Scientist, Leader in Gender Justice and Director of Advocacy & Communications Dr Leanne Levers
