In Her Name

The WOW Cairns Festival program will be launched at the Opening of a touring exhibition of In Her Name – Celebrating the lives of Queensland women and girls.

This inspiring exhibition celebrates the remarkable contributions of women and girls from across Queensland. The exhibition will also feature new portraits of ten incredible local women from Cairns along with their stories.

Supported by the Queensland Government, this legacy project and exhibition will offer visitors a unique opportunity to engage with the powerful images and narratives of over 50 extraordinary women and girls identified by their community for their leadership or the huge personal contribution they have made.
