Anatoli Markoulaki

Anatoli Markoulaki, 17, is a Greek youth advocate, writer, and creative changemaker working at the intersection of democracy, women’s rights, and youth empowerment. She is the youngest member of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center Youth Council, contributing to programs on sustainability, equality, and inclusion.
At age seven, she launched a book-donation campaign for a public school in Santorini, delivering hundreds of books. She earned a full academic merit scholarship from the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation to attend Doukas School, where she serves as Vice President of the IB School Council.
Her anti-discrimination play "Hidden Miracles" was recognized in the National Competition for Children’s Rights. Through award-winning writing addressing stereotypes, bullying, LGBTQ rights, gender equality, and social justice, she uses storytelling as a tool for advocacy and dialogue. Her play "Me and the Stereotypes" was selected and presented at WOW Festival Athens 2024 at SNFCC and other venues.
Anatoli represented her peers at the Athens Democracy Forum, was featured in The New York Times, spoke at events including Libra Philanthropies and the UN SDGs Forum Bangkok 2025, and served on the Greek Ombudswoman’s Teen Advisory Group. She has traveled to 60 countries, visiting more than 500 museums across all continents.
