Dr. Leanne Levers is a global feminist leader, author, and moderator working at the intersection of gender justice, racial equity, and justice policy reform. With over 15 years of experience across academia, public policy, and global advocacy, she brings deep expertise on violence against women and girls (VAWG), systems of accountability, and the social conditions that enable harm.
She is the author of Decolonising Restorative Justice: A Case of Policy Reform (Routledge), and her work focuses on restorative and community-centred approaches to justice, examining how institutions can move beyond punitive responses to centre dignity, prevention, and collective responsibility.
Leanne is the Co-Founder of Dope Black Women, an award-winning global platform amplifying the voices, wellbeing, and leadership of Black women. She is also an award-winning storyteller and skilled facilitator, known for guiding complex public conversations with clarity, care, and intellectual depth.
Combining academic rigour with a deeply human approach, Leanne brings insight, warmth, and authority to conversations about power, harm, accountability, and social change.
