Sara has over 12 years of experience in ethical product development and manufacturing, and is on a mission to help independent brands build confidence in their sustainable and ethical practices. She champions a mindful, people-first approach to production, with quality, equality, and integrity at the core of the work.
Her work focuses on supporting brands to build meaningful, long-term partnerships, with a particular passion for collaborating with social enterprises. Sara is a strong believer in rebalancing power relations in global supply chains, ensuring that women and makers have an equal voice and are paid fairly for their work.
Alongside her consultancy, Sara contributes to the Gateway to Fair Fashion project with the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), and has recently worked with Stronger Together on their UK Apparel and General Merchandise programme. She holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development.
