Stephanie Singer
(she/her)
Stephanie Singer is a London-based composer, creative director, and experiential music pioneer. Her work is disarmingly intimate — binding original classical, pop, experiential music together, she draws audiences into worlds of unbridled joy to celebrate the glorious insanity of being human.
Founder of BitterSuite, a multi-sensory concert company and registered charity, she has spent over a decade dismantling the boundaries of how music is experienced, placing audiences at the centre of visceral, embodied encounters with sound.
Her work spans opera, musical theatre, comedy, film, and immersive performance, presented at the Southbank Centre, English National Opera, the Royal Opera House, and Brooklyn Academy of Music.
She is currently developing Violet Disruption — a rave opera chronicling a survivor's journey through the UK criminal justice system — and The Frustration Choir, bringing together King's College London Choir, Dragon Cafe community choir, and the audience in a meticulously choreographed, 40 minute defiant collective roar. Her best loved hobby is performing as her drag king alter-ego Jeff Eagleman.
