Where are all the women from history? So many trailblazing women have been erased from our memories. How do we bring their stories back?
Come behind the scenes with the creative team from Olivier Award-winning show Emilia, who did just that.
Join Emilia playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm and director Nicole Charles, to discuss why they fell in love with Emilia, the importance of storytelling and why we should stand up and demand to be counted. Join the discussion at the end and join an activity to help take action.
Emilia is the multi Olivier Award-winning show that brought Emilia Bassano back to us through the centuries: An "outright feminist triumph and a brilliant call-to-arms".
This workshop is open to everyone and will take place on Zoom. The first half of the session will be a conversation with the creative team, followed by a live Q&A. You will be sent joining details before the event.
This event will be captioned and have BSL interpretation.
For this workshop you’ll be part of a large group - but do book early to secure a place!
This event is part of WOW UK Festival 2021, our three week digital programme of groundbreaking In Conversations and interactive workshops.
