Workshop: I Am Perfect As Me

I Am Perfect As Me is a campaign created by Speakers Corner Collective, a political, social collective created by young people in Bradford. This campaign celebrates body acceptance, as well as opening conversations around mental health, family barriers, bullying and other challenges young people face.

Join this workshop to celebrate all things we are grateful for within these hard times, and focus on the positive things that have happened - however small - to uplifting each other as well as ourselves.

So get dressed up, bring your favourite foods and join Speakers Corner in celebrating all things we are grateful for in the past year!!

This workshop is open to everyone.

This workshop will take place on Zoom, you’ll be part of a large group led by Speakers Corner - but do book early to secure a place! You will be sent joining details before the event.

BSL and captioning are available upon request. The deadline for booking BSL interpreting and/or captioning has now passed, however we want the festival to be accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore if you would like to request either, please email access@thewowfoundation.com and we will endeavour to book this for you, subject to our access provider's availability.

In partnership with Speakers Corner Collective: Hanniya Ejaz, Iram Rehman, Madeyah Khan, Maleehah Hussain, Mehmoona Pervaz and Taiba Qayyum.

This event is part of WOW UK Festival 2021, our three week digital programme of groundbreaking In Conversations and interactive workshops. For this year’s festival, we are offering audiences the chance to pay what they can for tickets from £1 upwards. If you’re able to pay a higher ticket price, your contribution will include a donation to help WOW continue its work fighting for gender equality all year-round.
