Take to the sky and let aspirations soar as we celebrate the 13th International Day of the Girl; a day highlighting the formidable strength and power of girls around the world.
To mark this year’s International Day of the Girl, WOW will once again take to the iconic London Eye for a morning of speed mentoring with over 150 young people from London and the southeast, providing them with an opportunity to meet inspirational women and non-binary people from the world of business, sport, politics, public life, the arts and more.
Past mentors have included: Adwoa Aboah, Maggie Aderin-Pocock, Clara Amfo, Gillian Anderson, Laura Bates, Poorna Bell, Jo Brand, Sarah Brown, Dawn Butler MP, Gemma Cairney, Shami Chakrabarti, Lily Cole, Charlie Craggs, Stella Creasy MP, Elizabeth Day, Julia Gillard, Justine Greening MP, Shobna Gulati, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Fatima Manji, Perri Shakes-Drayton and Jessie Ware to name a few.
Schools can express their interest here. If you have already filled in the expression of interest, we will be in touch in September. This opportunity gives priority to central London secondary mainstream non-selective schools. Please email schools@thewowfoundation.com if you'd like to be added to our mailing list to hear about future opportunities.
