Join us at WOW Festival for this special gig featuring an exclusive line up of WOW Sounds acts including Nadia Javed and Breakup Haircut, hosted by WOW Sounds artist in residence Miss Baby Sol.

We invite you to throw some shapes and embrace your inner punk rocker.

WOW Sounds Hour includes Breakup Haircut who formed for First Timers 2019 and have since been described as 'instantly charming', 'a mix of nihilism and slapstick guaranteed to put a smile on your face', and 'a pop punk version of the Scooby Doo gang'. Defined by fierce bass lines, humorously relatable lyrics, and a vehement determination not to recycle the same three punk drumbeats, they've been making pals and solving mysteries left, right, and centre.

Also on the line up is Nadia Javed, a singer, songwriter and guitarist from Hayes Middlesex. She has spent the past decade fronting all-female, all-feminist band The Tuts. She is now embarking on her solo career; a stripped down project showcasing her more personal material and an exploration of identity, politics; delving into her hilarious and relatable anecdotes from her journey growing up as a working class British Muslim punk in London.

WOW Sounds is WOW’s first ever dedicated music programme platforming female and non-binary musicians and spoken word artists who are using music as a form of activism.

This event will be BSL interpreted.

Free, no need to book just turn up!
