WOW UK 21 Launch: Where Are We Now?

Join us to launch WOW’s 2021 UK digital festival - with WOW Founder and Director Jude Kelly and entrepreneur India Gary-Martin. What has the pandemic meant for women and girls - and who are the people bringing the solutions?

This has been a tough year for girls and women, with stories of great hardship - but there’ll be stories of hope too, and much to celebrate about the resilience of women and girls, and progress that has been made, despite everything.

Join Jude Kelly and India for the launch of WOW’s March programme as they take stock of where we’re up to - and look at what’s in store over the next three weeks.

This event will be BSL interpreted and captioned.

Don't miss a performance by WOW Sounds artists as part of the evening. There will be incredible performances by soul singer and all round force of nature Miss Baby Sol who will be performing a heartbreaking track called She Cries, and Voice of Baceprot a teenage Indonesian metal band rebelling against stereotypes of Islamic girls whilst fighting for equal rights to education.

This event is part of WOW UK Festival 2021, our three week digital programme of groundbreaking In Conversations and interactive workshops. For this year’s festival, we are offering audiences the chance to pay what they can for tickets from £1 upwards. If you’re able to pay a higher ticket price, your contribution will include a donation to help WOW continue its work fighting for gender equality all year-round.
