Ten years ago, WOW Pakistan began its journey in South Asia via Karachi – a city alive with possibility, courage, and creativity.

Since then, we’ve spent a decade celebrating women’s achievements, uncovering their untold stories, and amplifying the voices that drive change in homes, communities, and movements across the country.

From our very first festival to today, WOW has been more than an event – it’s a living platform. A space where women’s power, agency, and imagination take centre stage. Where dialogue turns into action, and where laughter, solidarity, and courage meet.

Our curatorial principle has remained unchanged and each gathering is a testament to the courage, originality, and audacity women bring to the world. Over these years, WOW Pakistan has rooted global conversations in local realities, celebrating everyday resilience, uplifting women-led initiatives, and creating space for stories that reflect the true spirit of Pakistan. Together, we’ve built a growing community of nearly a thousand activists, artists, and changemakers who have shaped this movement with passion and purpose.

And now, we’re coming home.

In January 2026, WOW Pakistan returns to Karachi, the city where it all began, to mark a decade of courage, creativity, and connection.

Join us as we celebrate the power of women, the joy of community, and the belief that when women rise, everyone rises.
