We're so proud to introduce you to 2022's WOW Young Leaders in this year's edition of the Young Leaders Directory – now available to explore!

WOW's directory is created every year to celebrate October's International Day of the Girl, and this year features 30 incredible girl young leaders, campaigners and activists. It aims to give these incredible activists a platform and help people discover their work, as well as giving readers ways they can support their activism.

This global online directory includes young people aged 11-21 years-old from all over the world. Each of the leaders are known for their work, both in their home countries and globally, in areas such as social justice, LGBTQIA+ rights, climate action, education activism, sexual and reproductive health and rights activism and gender equality.

This weekend, working in partnership with Purposeful – a feminist movement-building hub for adolescent girls – the activists and other WOW Young Leaders from 2020 and 2021 will come together for two closed virtual convenings to connect, share and learn from one another to help establish a new network.
