Nominations have now closed.
Do you know someone who’s making a difference in your community? Someone who works tirelessly to make the lives of women, girls and non-binary people better? Someone who deserves a moment in the spotlight to be thanked and to bring their work to wider attention?
WOW - Women of the World is about to embark on a UK tour to do just this - and we want to hear from you. Nominations are now open for you or your local hero to appear live on stage at The WOW Show with Jude Kelly at one of five locations across the UK this October.
This autumn we’re off on tour with a brand new show at Chipping Norton Theatre (10 October), The Exchange Twickenham (11 October), Brighton Dome Studio Theatre (12 October) and York Theatre Royal (13 October). We’re looking for one amazing person per venue to be interviewed on stage by Jude, alongside a line-up of other incredible speakers and performers.
Who is eligible?
Nominees must have a connection to Chipping Norton, Twickenham, Brighton or York, for example live, work or be from there. You can nominate someone you know or yourself, and nominees can be any gender.
We want to hear about people who are doing amazing things to support women, girls and non-binary people. It could be that they work for an outstanding local charity or are an unsung hero in the community. Maybe they are a carer, the coach of your local girls football team or run a small business or community group changing the lives of others. Whatever it is, we want to hear about them and tell their story as part of the tour.
To be eligible, the nominee must be over the age of 18, be UK based and live, work or be from the local area of your chosen date in the tour.
The winners will be celebrated on stage to appear as part of The WOW Show with Jude Kelly, and receive two additional complimentary tickets to the event. More details about the show can be found here.
Tickets are now on sale for The WOW Show with Jude Kelly. Find out more here.
