Abi Ogunmwonyi

Abi has spent over 13 years building strategic fundraising and partnerships that drive global social impact across the UK, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. With a background in human rights and experience in gender and health equity, youth empowerment, and community development, she has secured multi-million-pound corporate, foundation, and government funding to scale programmes that centre underrepresented voices.

Abi combines strategy with creative production to design inclusive campaigns that blends advocacy, arts, and access. She has worked with organisations including Spotify, Viacom, BBC Media Action, Gates Foundation, Comic Relief, and DFID, bringing a global perspective to every project.

One of Abi’s most memorable WOW moments was working on WOW North East, spotlighting the historic and ongoing impact of women in railways and engineering, and celebrating their vital contributions to STEM across the UK and the Commonwealth. Abi is committed to building values-driven partnerships that create sustainable, meaningful change to women and communities worldwide.
