Ariadna Beneventi

Ariadna Beneventi is a 21-year-old gender justice activist from Concepción, Chile, and a first-year Sociology student at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. At age 17, she founded the non-profit organization Intransigentes, which aims to promote a life free of gender-based violence among young people by encouraging peer connection and youth participation in decision-making spaces. Intransigentes has reached six Latin American countries, powered by over 100 volunteers aged 14 to 27.

She has been involved with Girl Rising / She’s the First since 2023. As a 2024–2025 Girl Activist Fellow, she led a menstrual education campaign, launched Beyond Bleeding magazine, represented the organization at CSW 69, and currently serves as an Advisory Councelor Member.

Ariadna has joined official Chilean government delegations at the 9th Belém do Pará Conference, CSW 69, and the 16th Regional Conference on Women, connecting multilateral policy with grassroots action. She also participated in the Pacific Alliance youth initiative "Youth, Feminism, and Memory" and was featured in the Voices of the Pacific exhibition.

Academically, her research explores the intersection of gender, global health, and political power—focusing on reproductive health, drug use during pregnancy, and punitive state responses—to inform comprehensive public policies.
