Cat is a passionate leader in inclusive public programming, dedicated to harnessing the power of creativity to build stronger, more connected communities. With a career spanning national cultural institutions, grassroots organisations, and large-scale public engagement projects, Cat has championed co-creation, accessibility, and transformative learning experiences for diverse audiences. Projects include the WOW Girls Festival, featuring an ambitious national tour of the WOW Bus and globally used digital schools resources, youth heritage programmes working with young people living in care with English Heritage, and leading the Amies Freedom Choir - supporting women who have survived human trafficking - to national acclaim as winners of the Youth Music Social Action Award. Cat is spearheading a pioneering co-production and training strategy for The Choir with No Name, choirs for people affected by homelessness and marginalisation across the UK.
Cat’s creative journey began in a fully funded youth theatre in Liverpool, sparking a lifelong commitment to the arts as a tool for social change. Across multiple artforms and working with people of all ages, Cat has curated groundbreaking public programmes that empower both participants and practitioners, bringing a deep understanding of trauma-informed practice, creative pedagogy, and meaningful community collaboration. Their approach amplifies underrepresented voices, creates space for joy and healing, and equips individuals with the skills to thrive.
