Dr Vanessa Ogden CBE

Vanessa is CEO of the Mulberry Schools Trust family of schools in London and East Sussex. Vanessa is a National Leader of Education and has a leading track record of successful school turnaround work in urban and rural settings. Vanessa has a doctorate in education policy and school improvement. Vanessa is the Chair of the Fair Education Alliance and of the Unicorn Theatre. She is on the Education Committee of the Haberdashers’ Livery Company and is an expert panel member for the government’s review of the National Curriculum.

Vanessa founded Global Girl Leading, a global sisterhood of girls advocating for girls’ leadership, voice and visibility. In 2015, she welcomed Michelle Obama to Mulberry. Vanessa received a CBE in the King’s 2024 New Year Honours.
