Professor Erinma Bell MBE DL is a prominent peace activist, community leader, and educator dedicated to fostering positive change in the Greater Manchester area. With a passion for social justice and community empowerment, Erinma has dedicated her life to bridging divides and promoting unity among diverse communities.
As the Chair of the Greater Manchester Police Force Independent Advisory Committee, Erinma has been instrumental in building trust and collaboration between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Her tireless efforts have led to significant advancements in community policing and the promotion of dialogue and understanding.
In addition to her work with the police force, Erinma is actively involved in various community organizations, including her role as Chair of the Fabric Advisory Committee of Manchester Cathedral and Trustee of Emerge 3Rs. She also serves as Chair of We Stand Together and the Ethics Committee of Trinity High School and Chair of the Nostalgia Trust, further demonstrating her commitment to education and community development.
Erinma's dedication to peace and social justice has earned her numerous accolades, including the Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) and the prestigious Deputy Lieutenant (DL) title.
