Paola Revenioti

Paola Revenioti is a publisher, photographer and filmmaker. Active since the late 1970s, she is a prominent figure in the Greek LGBTQ+ movement, though she does not identify as an activist. In 1981, she began publishing KRAKSIMO, a 'magazine of revolutionary gay expression.' During the 1990s, she organised some of the first Pride events in Athens.

In the past decade, Paola has focused on documentary filmmaking, exploring historical, social, and political issues often from society's margins. She collaborates with the 'Paola Team Documentaries' and has showcased her work at festivals, squats, universities, and galleries worldwide.
