Raabia Qadir

Raabia has trained as an animator with experience in film. She started her career with creating dioramas, exhibits and public facing educational software's for exhibits. Her initial work focused on science and technology, later branching out into corporate work and the development sector. She has curated work for museums, festivals and international expos. 

The projects she takes on tend to look at how to take complex, field intensive research then develop those into public facing activities and conversations. This has led to her work spanning film, digital storytelling, theatre productions, interactive games and immersive experiences. She works closely with teams to align the content as well the core themes of each project to maximize audience engagement and learning.

The themes she loves to explore are in the socio-cultural dynamics of power, memory, meaning and understanding of reality. The intersection of how people understand collective experiences while forging their own identity through those experiences is the one note that ties her work together be it curation, production, writing or design work.
