Ramandeep Nijjar

Ramandeep has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with Professional Experience from the University of Reading. She is dedicated to speaking, engaging and taking action on behalf of our planet’s nature as well as being a voice for young people and keen to keep pushing for greater collaborations between organisations and generations.

Currently, she is a trustee for Birmingham and Black Country Wildlife Trust, key organiser and spokesperson for UK Youth for Nature, youth representative for the British Trust for Ornithology, facilitator of Climate Fresks and Biodiversity Collages, squad ambassador for My Life My Say, youth ambassador for Our World 2050 and part of the team working on the youth nature storytelling podcast ‘Generation Nature.’ She is also a contributor for the Gen-Z led consultancy, 'We are Prysm.'

Ramandeep is deeply interested in international affairs and policy development so currently part of Chatham’s House Common Futures Conversations Programme and contributes to website platform ‘Youth Opportunities,’ designed to provide young people (aged 13-30) with access to genuine opportunities that empower them to reach their goals.
