Selin Özünaldım

Selin Özünaldım is a gender equality advocate, youth leader and social entrepreneur from Türkiye. She is currently studying International Relations at Bilkent University and works at the intersection of gender justice, youth participation, and social innovation.
Selin is the founder of the first Girl Up Club in Türkiye and Girls Who Code Türkiye, initiatives that have reached thousands of young people through workshops, campaigns and community-building efforts focused on girls’ leadership, STEM education and social impact. Her work centres on turning lived inequalities into actionable, youth-led solutions.
She has represented Türkiye on global platforms as a National Gender Youth Activist with UN Women and is a member of the UN Women Leaders Network. Selin has spoken and moderated at international events on topics including gender norms, technology-facilitated violence, climate justice and youth leadership, and regularly collaborates with civil society organisations and UN agencies.
Her work is driven by a belief in collective action, intergenerational dialogue and the power of young people to reshape systems through advocacy, creativity and care. Selin's motto is, "If not me, then who? If not now, then when?"
