Member of the NGO Proud Parents Greece

I ask for nothing beyond the obvious: that every queer child be able to live their truth. Let us stand where our hearts belong – with them.
My name is Stefania. I am a Baby Boomer and the mother of two wonderful children: Ifigeneia, my cisgender daughter, and Iasonas, my transgender son.
For the past five years, I have been an active member of Proud Parents, a nonprofit organisation that supports and empowers parents of LGBTQI+ children. My involvement is not simply a personal stance; it is an ongoing journey of learning, understanding, and advocating for the dignity of every child.
Professionally, I have worked in research and strategy for more than 30 years, focusing on human behaviour, responses, and interactions in an increasingly complex world. More recently, I founded the boutique agency damaS behavioural mining & strategy, where I continue to explore what shapes human experiences and relationships.
As both a mother and a professional, I am guided by the same need: to understand people more deeply and to contribute, even in a small way, to a world that is fairer, more open, and more human.
