WOW Australia is back for 2025 and coming to Gladstone!
WOW is not your average conference, it’s a festival. A vibrant celebration of achievement, optimism, and bold hopes for a future where every member of the community is equally valued, and the contributions of all genders are seen, heard and honoured.
We’re kicking things off on Friday morning with a special breakfast event just for the men and boys of Gladstone, a powerful way to launch two days of connection, conversation and community.
This breakfast is a chance to celebrate leadership and allyship in action. You'll hear from men who are walking the talk, those who have experienced firsthand the benefits of working together to build kinder, more respectful workplaces and communities for everyone.
The morning will feature a panel discussion facilitated by Shaan Ross-Smith, visionary leader and violence prevention specialist from The Be There Group, and will include a range of inspiring WOW Festival guests ready to share their insights, stories and calls to action.
Come hungry. Leave inspired. We can’t wait to welcome you.

Founded in 2010, more than 150 WOW Festivals and events have now taken place in 71 locations across the world. The WOW organisers in each location ensure the content is created by the local community for the local community. While each festival is different in its own wonderful, unique way, there are elements that stay consistent at every WOW Festival wherever you are in the world; from the WOW Marketplace to Under 10's Feminist Corners.
In the past 15 years, the WOW movement has grown from its London beginnings to find homes everywhere from Beijing and Kathmandu to Baltimore and Brisbane. To date, WOW has reached more than five million people from thousands of women in favelas at WOW Rio to Territory women at WOW Katherine.
