Bestselling authors Saima Mir and Kate Mosse will present an online WOW Presents... event on 14 November to discuss how they balance their lives as writers and carers.

In this exclusive event, Saima, mother of three, and Kate, a carer to an elderly relative, will explore how people can find the space to be creative when they have caring responsibilities or limited time and energy to devote to their creative force.

This intimate session will be packed full of practical tips and advice, as well as giving a fascinating insight into these two critically acclaimed authors' creative lives. Kate – whose books include An Extra Pair of Hands, a rallying cry for carers and the acts of love that hold families together – and Saima will tell us how they do it and share their personal tricks for tapping into your creativity. They’ll also explore how to confront the fear and guilt that often comes with giving ourselves permission to create.

The online event - which will be live captioned by My Clear Text - is open to anyone; no level of creative experience is required. It'll take place as a Zoom Webinar and there will be loads of time for your questions.
