WOW Athens invites girls to share their words with the world
11 Oct 2025
To mark International Day of the Girl (11 October), the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) and WOW Athens are inviting girls and feminine-identifying young people aged 13-17 from across Greece to speak for themselves – in their own words, in their own way.
Whether it’s poetry, prose, monologue, or something entirely your own, this open call is an invitation to tell the world what it means to be a girl today – the challenges you face, the dreams you carry, the moments that make you feel powerful, and everything in between.
Selected pieces will be performed live by their authors on stage at WOW Athens, taking place 27–30 March 2026.
At WOW, we know every girl’s story is different – but when these stories are shared, connections grow. By listening to each other, we build a future that is fairer, more inclusive, and full of possibility.
How to Take Part
- Deadline: Sunday 11 January 2026, 23:59
