Gisèle Pelicot & Tarana Burke In Conversation

A landmark event on justice, testimony and survival – and what comes next.
Ten years ago, the Me Too hashtag sparked a global movement for change. In 2024, Gisèle Pelicot made the extraordinary decision to waive her anonymity, igniting a new reckoning around sexual violence.
Now, on the 10th anniversary of #MeToo and the paperback publication of Pelicot’s A Hymn For Life, for the first time together, Pelicot and MeToo Founder Tarana Burke share the stage to reflect on their stories – and to look ahead. From consent to accountability, from harm to survival, they explore how shame begins to change sides, and what it takes to build a world where justice is possible.
Led by WOW Founder Jude Kelly, this is a conversation about power, truth and solidarity, and about the role each of us plays in shaping what comes next.
Join us for this London exclusive landmark event and be part of the shift toward a world free from sexual violence.
For more than 25 years, activist, advocate and author Tarana Burke has worked at the intersection of sexual violence and racial justice. Alongside founding Me Too in 2026, Tarana is the Co-Chair of All In, a coalition of global leaders committed to ending gender-based violence, who are united to accelerate progress. Tarana's participation is made possible with support from All In.
This event will include discussion of sexual violence, as well as other sensitive or adult themes. Professional support will be available at the event for any audience members who require it, with full details of how to access this support to be supplied nearer the event.
