The world’s biggest festival celebrating women, girls and non-binary people is back at Southbank Centre in 2027! Join us for three days of urgency, laughter, joy, rage, world-class speakers, artists and activists, all under one roof as we look together at the world today. 

Your Friday Day Pass gives you access to a packed day of talks, workshops, comedy and more, as people of all genders and life experiences come together. Expect bold ideas and honest conversations about the things that shape our lives: housing security, the mental load, intersectionality, building community and imagining a different world together.

Friday will begin with an energising opening session with WOW founder Jude Kelly, setting the tone for a day of big questions, bold ideas and the possibilities of collective action. Acclaimed author Laura Bates and educator and speaker Ben Hurst will explore misogyny, its impact and how we challenge the cultures that allow it to thrive, while podcaster Freddie Feltham (What's Left) brings his perspective to the conversation around politics, masculinity, gender and change.

There’s plenty of space to think, make and play too. Author Poorna Bell joins us as we explore what it means to build a meaningful life outside motherhood, celebrating the businesses, books, artworks, movements and wild ideas people choose to bring into the world. Get creative through a range of hands-on workshops, from writing and dancing to playful, practical ways of exploring ideas, experiences and the world around us.

We’ll also get under the skin of the booming weight-loss drug phenomenon, exploring body image, diet culture, eating disorders and the links between beauty pressures, power and sexual violence. Expect provocative questions, new perspectives and plenty of food for thought!

Throughout the day, the programme moves between the personal and the political, the serious and the joyful, creating space to question what we’ve inherited, challenge what isn’t working and imagine what could come next.

Bringing together WOW’s other festivals Shameless! and Boys & Men into WOW London for the first time, festival-goers can also choose to explore their themes. In Shameless! we’ll look at how to end sexual violence; and Boys & Men events will tackle everything from the manosphere to men’s role in the fight for gender equality.
