What is WOW - Women of the World Festival 2027?
The world’s biggest festival celebrating women, girls and non-binary people is back in London for 2027! WOW London Festival 2027 takes place 5-7 March at the Southbank Centre in London. WOW Festivals are a place for inspiration, community and celebration, as well as life-changing conversations about the things making us rage and rally.
Every year hundreds of young people from schools and FE colleges join us for the WOW Friday Day Pass, to join our global movement for gender equality, take part in the Festival and experience world-class speakers, activists, performers, musicians and artists from across the world, all in one place.
We’d love to welcome you and your students to WOW London Festival as we come together for laughter, joy, world-class speakers, artists and activists, take a frank look at the world we live in now and the one we can build together.
Discounted £12 tickets (usually £44) are available for schools on Friday 5 March 2027 (from 10am to 6pm) to access the entire Day Pass programme in Royal Festival Hall, as well as having access to the WOW Marketplace and outdoor activity.
Hear incredible stories from across the world covering everything from climate justice to technology, youth activism, why tackling misogyny is everyone’s business, body image and the future of work, power and care. And this year, festival-goers have the chance to dive deeper, with sessions dedicated to Boys and Men and exploring how we all work together. Plus, Shameless! creates a coming together of activism and action for the eradication of gender based violence.
Led by WOW Founder Jude Kelly, Friday’s line-up will welcome to the stage brilliant speakers, artists and performers who will help us to imagine an equal world. You will hear from those on the front lines of global movements transforming the future, and from girls and young women who are changing our world for the better. Speakers will include activist and author Laura Bates and Ben Hurst from Beyond Equality. There’ll be well known faces, panel discussions, music, WOW Big Ideas and performances. Plus moments for active participation, Q&A and reflection, as well as a packed festival site with a WOW Marketplace full of women and non-binary entrepreneurs, support services and ideas being shared for school groups to explore before and after sessions.
Who is this event suitable for?
We pitch the programme for Year 9 upwards, and the Festival is open to young people of all genders. Events will feature talks on pressing issues around gender inequality across the world, meaning some sessions may include sensitive content. More information about the programme will follow in February, and we’ll send you an update and info pack a couple of weeks ahead of your visit.
How do I book?
The event is programmed and presented by WOW - Women of the World and held at the Southbank Centre. When you’re ready, you can book your tickets directly with Southbank Centre by contacting customer@southbankcentre.co.uk and cc’ing schools@thewowfoundation.com so we can keep you updated on the format and programme of the day as it develops.

How many students can I bring?
We are encouraging each school to bring up to 30 students, although you can bring any number of students, depending on what works best for your group. School tickets are limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis.
How much are tickets?
We are pleased to offer school students and teachers an exclusive discounted price of £12 per ticket (+£2 restoration levy per ticket).
All bookings are subject to a £4 Southbank Centre booking fee per transaction, not per ticket.
Are the events accessible?
All events in the Royal Festival Hall will be BSL interpreted and live captioned and there are wheelchair spaces available. Please contact our team for more information if you or your students require access provisions.
