WOWsers

WOWsers is WOW’s global youth engagement programme: an eight-week creative journey designed to help young people explore identity, equality, creative careers and activism.
Working in schools and community groups, WOWsers invites young people of all genders to ask bold questions about the world around them – and imagine how they’d change it.
Whether it’s spoken word in Brixton, festival-making in Rotherham and Rio, or art projects in Istanbul, every WOWsers cohort creates something unique. Each project is shaped entirely by the interests, ideas and lived experiences of the participants – and that’s the magic. WOW works with exceptional women and non-binary artists, across disciplines and methodologies, to create projects which support young people to find their voice, transform ideas into art and activism, and build confidence through creative expression.
The programme is often linked to WOW Festivals, giving young people the chance to showcase their work live on stage or online. WOWsers alumni may also go on to join our global Young Leaders Directory, a growing community of inspiring young change-makers.
WOWsers is more than an extracurricular programme – it’s a powerful invitation to imagine a better future, together. With projects rooted in local communities but connected to a global movement, WOWsers opens doors, breaks silences, and builds the next generation of gender equality leaders.
